I took the boys to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard. We primarily went to see the underground fish ladder because we&#8217;ve been talking about salmon ever since having it for dinner the other night. Well, we only got to see a few fish since it&#8217;s the tail end of a run (we decided they were taking a lunch break while we were there), but the &#8220;boat elevator&#8221; was a big hit.
