“The boats are sinking!”
After a couple days of being sick and missing school, we had to get out of the house. I took the boys to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard. We primarily went to see the underground fish ladder because we’ve been talking about salmon ever since having it for dinner the other night. Well, we only got to see a few fish since it’s the tail end of a run (we decided they were taking a lunch break while we were there), but the “boat elevator” was a big hit. Archer chose to explain it that the “boats were sinking down to the lower water.” Sometimes I just don’t have the energy to argue ;)
